Privacy

Mox Street Bets is run by one person in New Zealand. For anything about your data, email hello@moxstreetbets.com.

What we keep

• Your account. Signing in with Google or Discord gives us your email address and an account id, along with any name or picture they share. We keep those, your plan and the date you joined. We never see a password.
• What you ask for. When a page or the site's API returns market data, we record what was asked for (which data, list and stores), your plan, the time and your account. If you aren't signed in, we record a code made from your IP address and browser instead, which changes every Monday. If the request came from a known crawler, we record the crawler's name. Our records don't hold your IP address or browser details, or what you type into search.
• Links to stores. When you follow a link to a store, we record which store, where on the site the link was, the time, and your account or the weekly code. We don't record which page at the store you went to. Some links carry our referral code, which tells the store the visit came from us. It says nothing about you, but the store or its referral network may set its own cookies when you arrive.
• Votes and feedback. Your vote for the next store, and anything you send with the Feedback button, along with the page you were on.
• Page views. Vercel Web Analytics counts visits without cookies and without identifying you.

Why

To run the site and your plan, to see which parts get used, to spot bulk downloading and abuse, to answer feedback, and to show stores how much traffic we send them. Stores only ever see totals, never who.

How long

• Your account, vote and feedback: until you delete your account or ask us to remove them.
• Usage records and store clicks: after 90 days we remove the account and the weekly code from them, including after an account is deleted. What remains are counts that don't name anyone.

Who else handles it

• Supabase stores the database and runs sign-in. Vercel hosts the site and provides the analytics. Both may keep your IP address in their logs.
• Google and Discord are involved if you sign in with them.
• Google Fonts and Scryfall serve the site's fonts and card images directly to your browser, so they see your IP address.

These are overseas companies, mostly in the United States, so your data is held outside New Zealand. Their own privacy policies apply. We don't sell your data, we don't show ads, and we don't share anything about you with stores.

Cookies and storage

We use cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your currency, your chart setting and your time zone. Your theme, recent searches, and recent and pinned lists are stored in your browser. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.

Age

The site is for people aged 16 or over.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account. Email hello@moxstreetbets.com from the address on your account, so we know the request is yours, or use the Feedback button. If you're not happy with how we handle it, you can complain to New Zealand's Privacy Commissioner.

Changes

When this changes we'll update the date at the top, and we'll announce big changes on the site or in the Discord. See also the terms.
